Sumner Seafood is a family owned business in Brisbane's southside. From what started as a small-scale operation in 1988, we have grown to become one of the leading distributors of live seafood in Australia. With facilities well-suited for the storage and transporting of live seafood, our products are ensured to be delivered to the highest standard - whether it is being delivered locally, interstate or overseas.

We pride ourselves on providing only the best sustainably-caught Australian seafood.
From giant crabs caught in the dark, freezing depths of the Tasman Sea to line-caught trout hooked in QLD's tropical north, live produce is sent in daily to us from all around the country. From the long-standing relationships we have developed with our fishermen and producers over the years, we can ensure that only the best products are being sourced for our customers.

Each week our trucks distribute over a tonne of live seafood to restaurants and wholesalers throughout the Brisbane and Gold Coast metro areas.
More recently, we have opened parts of our facility to retail trade for the public to enjoy as well.
The backbone of our business remains in exporting. Since 1988 we have delivered over 300 tonnes of live Coral Trout successfully to countries all across the world - including major cities such as Los Angeles, Singapore, Kula Lumpur, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Shanghai and Taipei.
